A morning of Pranayama (breathing techniques), Asana ( postures), and simple Mindfulness, Meditation and Relaxation techniques.
The first three monthly workshops of 2018 will focus on 'yin' practices.
Explore new approaches to a slow deep yoga practice for creating ease relaxation and flexibility in the mind and body. These workshops includes a flow of restorative asanas (postures) and pranayama ( breathing exercises). Ideal for newcomers as well as experienced yogis.
Many students combine Monthly Workshops with Active Flow Sunday Morning Master Classes

A great morning of hatha yoga. Suitable for all levels. A balanced classical yoga practice of breathing (pranayama), movement (asana) and relaxation.
Some morning will be dedicated more to pranayama techniques, but will also include a balance of asana.
Excellent for newcomers to yoga as well as for teachers.
On 'Pranayama Mornings' the focus is on developing our understanding of how our breath works, and how to use it effectively. You will experience the benefits of correct breathing – via guided step by step guidance through simple highly effective classical yoga breathing techniques ('pranayama'). Receive all the tools you need to begin everyday with practices to suit you. All sessions will include movement and meditation.
These weekend monthly morning stand alone sessions will teach you useful approaches and techniques for self practice. A great support too to week day classes. You'll explore fresh ways to connect to your breath both in stillness and through movement. You’ll leave replenished – in mind, body and spirit.

This is perfect preparation! Chose to precede your Monthly Yoga morning with an 8.30 - 9.45 Active Flow class. These sessions run back to back and are specifically designed to complement one another

• Saturday 'workshops go deeper into the practice of breathing. We focus on traditional techniques, their theory and practice. You will develop your personal understanding as you experience their benefits through the morning.
• The workshops build on practices I use in my classes, with the added benefit of having more time to go deeper into poses and sequences. Newcomers welcome.
• Includes, mindfulness, meditation, breathing and relaxation techniques.
Saturday mornings offer the chance to discover or deepen your understanding of the practice and theory of breathing techniques ('pranayama') alongside it's scientific and health benefits.
Receive all the tools you need to begin everyday with some simple breathwork, progressing onto simple Pranayama.
In all classes and workshops the focus is on enhancing mental and physical well-being and building stamina, strength and flexibility in a friendly, supportive and relaxed environment.
Numbers are limited to ensure personal attention and a sensitive approach to individual needs. Students are encouraged and guided to work to their own capabilities.
