YOGA RETREAT WITH Sri O.P Tiwari

I am delighted to announce the residential workshop of a lifetime – to study under the guidance of my teacher and yoga master Sri O. P Tiwari, at the renowned Kaivalyadhama institute in Lonavla, India.

 

You can expect teaching of the highest level, and I have organised a comprehensive programme of practice, in which you will experience two weeks of yoga, pranayama, asana and meditation direct from the source. Talks will also be given by experts at the Kaivalyadhama Faculty, with subjects ranging from Ayurveda to Ashtanga, meditation to the Yoga Sutras. This is also an incredible opportunity to benefit from on-site ayurvedic and naturopathic health cures.

 

I will be there to assist and fully support you in your practice, so that you return home replenished in mind, body and spirit. What better way to see out 2018 and to welcome in 2019.

An opportunity to immerse  yourself in the physical flow of an active practice. This is the perfect way to shed the tensions of the week and get the day off to an energised start.  Book  the block or individual  sessions.

Pregnancy Yoga and Postnatal Yoga with Baby

Join a  private group.

Enjoy the benefits of a private class at an affordable rate.   A chance to ask questions, address your individual needs, receive a personalised practice.

Tuesday Morning: 11.30 – 12.30 Postnatal Yoga  with or without baby

Tuesday Evening: 8.00 – 9.00 Pregnancy Yoga from one month to delivery

Meditation  For You

Meditation and mindfulness  are the cornerstones of all yoga practice.

Each yoga asana (posture) class is in effect a practice of  'meditation in motion'. as we learn to mindfully work with our body. Likewise, a  pranayama  (breath control) class trains  us to develop our concentration to work with the subtle flow of breath

Meditation is is also highly valuable as a stand alone practice.

All these avenues provide opportunity to learn some useful techniques  to access and experience a place of stillness and inner calm and are taught in Maxine's classes:

 

Mellow Chair Yoga and Meditation

Thursdays  11.00 – 12.00 at the Alyth Studio

There is no other class quite like this . Ideal for total well being of mind and body.

Enjoy gentle movement and guided meditation combined. This chair based movement class includes stretching, standing, twisting, breathing & mindfulness techniques. All the benefits of a gentle yoga class without the need to travel down to the floor.
