ONE-TO-ONE AND PRIVATE CLASSES
For beginners to advanced yoga students, tailored to personal requirements. Includes: pregnancy and postnatal yoga, yoga for seniors, recovery from illness and injury, stress, anxiety. The yoga offered is adapted around you: dynamic, yin, gentle, restorative yoga, breathing, meditation, mindfulness and relaxation techniques. Please call to discuss your specific needs.
Rates vary according to the number of participants & classes booked.
The style of yoga is ‘hatha’. All classes include breathing techniques, yoga postures, flowing sequences, meditation and relaxation. Students are encouraged to practice at their own pace. Open to all.
Join all classes at any point.
Tuesday evening classes are limited to 12. The Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning classes are more bespoke, 'semi-private' classes with maximum 9 spaces, tailored to individual needs. All are taught at Alyth Gardens.
JW3 classes when running are booked directly through the JW3 website.

Shared Private Classes suitable from 3 months to delivery. Learn invaluable specialised yoga practices including breathing techniques, physical postures, relaxation and meditation, to build strength, stamina and well being and to offer a variety of support through each stage of pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond. These can also be ideal alongside a/few one to one private session/s.
ALYTH: Tuesday 8.00pm – 9.00pm. Or chose a time to suit you/ your group of friends.
Cost: Sliding scale per person according to number of attendees:
£30 per per person for a class of 2 people, £20 per person for a class of 3- 4 people, £15 per per person, for a class of 5 - 9 people.
Payment is from when you join to the current term end, or to your due date if sooner.

POSTNATAL YOGA WITH BABY 'CRAWLER' (7–10 months)
Shared Private Classes. Get fit & meet other mums locally in a relaxed atmosphere with your baby in the comfort of my home studio. These are bespoke shared private classes. Learn highly effective focused exercises to strengthen core muscles, re-align, tone and energise. Release tension, relax and speed your recovery. And/or arrange a one-to-one or oersonal shared private group session, suitable from one week postpartum

The Wednesday Gentle class is specifically aimed at those who prefer a more gentle practice. Ideal for newcomers to yoga. Open to all levels of experience and ability. Benefit from tailored guidance. Discover or re-visit the fundamental principles of yoga in a supportive and friendly environment. The difference between the Wednesday Gentle and the Thursday Mellow Chair Yoga class is that the Thursday class does not involve going down to the floor. Both the Gentle and the Mellow class Include gentle and effective movement, breathing, stretching, and tension release. Both are excellent if you are interested in mindfulness or meditation, are recovering from illness or injury, or simply chose to take things easy and are seeking a gentle movement class. Benefits also include improving stamina, flexibility and breath capacity.

ACTIVE FLOW MASTER CLASS
A Semi- Private Master Class. Limited spaces to permit personalised attention and individual adjustment. Open to the fairly fit, this active class will improve mental and physical well-being. Some experience of yoga is recommended. Maxine will cover essential steps towards mastery of physical flow ('vinyasa') through cultivating your natural intuitive capacity to 'tune inwards ( 'pratyahara'). Work with greater ease, connect more deeply to your energy, breath and core body – and leave mastering your understanding of effective ways to re- align strengthen and soften into the mental, breath and physical layers of your body.
HOME STUDIO: Sunday 8.30am – 09.45am. Book per half term block (5/8 weeks) @ £15 per class. £ 75/5 weeks – £120/8 weeks. £17 per individual class paid in advance. £18 drop in.
MELLOW CHAIR YOGA AND MEDITATION
Practice targeted exercises safely. Increase energy levels, fitness, strength and immunity, improve joint flexibility and enhance your overall mental and physical well being. Includes gentle and effective movement, breathing, stretching, and releasing tension. Less active participants can do all the movements sitting in a chair. Open to seekers of mellow yoga of all ages, and particularly ideal for mature students.
Excellent too if you are interested in mindfulness, meditation and improving your breathing, are recovering from illness or injury, or simply need to take things easy and are seeking a gentle movement class. The difference between this and the Wednesday Gentle class is that it does not involve going down to the floor. Private classes, tailored to your specific needs, are also available at your home or my home studio.

These highly enjoyable weekend workshops offer the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in a great 2.5 hours of yoga. Informative and practical. A balanced morning of gently paced yoga, dynamic sequences, breathing meditation and relaxation techniques. These mixed level workshops are suitable for newcomers and those with experience.
Saturdays focus on breath (pranayama) techniques also including asana and meditation.
Sundays are a balance between breath (pranayama), poses (asana) and meditation.

KIDS AND TEENS YOGA
Tailored to the specific needs/age of the group. The perfect anti-dote all the stimuli from full-on living – from school work to electronic devices and social media (not to mention the hormones), this is great ‘time out’. Highly enjoyable fun working with breath movement, balance and posture. Kids and young adults learn simple tools to reduce stress, improve concentration and self confidence – building strength, physical fitness and energy levels along the way. Non-competitive and for all physical abilities.

JEWISH MINDFULNESS AND MEDITATION ('JMM')
& KAVANNAH YOGA
Jewish Mindfulness and Meditation ('JMM') is a weekly drop in session open to all. Run by a different guest facilitator each week. Seated in chairs enjoy a relaxing and replenishing hour to release the tensions and stresses of the day. No experience required.
Kavannah Yoga sessions have now been incorporated into the 'JMM' Programme and run at different times throughout the year.
Kavannah Yoga was established by Maxine and Rabbi Mark Goldsmith to explore fresh ways of cultivating a personal spiritual practice. Kavannah means ‘intention’. Rabbi Mark reads selected Jewish texts which Maxine interweaves with asana (movement), pranayama (breath control) and mindfulness techniques – to create space for reflection and complete well being. A gentle meditative and physical practice open to all.
