Yoga is for every stage and age in life.
I am a highly experienced British Wheel of Yoga teacher running workshops and classes in London and abroad. I am passionate about teaching yoga and breathing techniques ('pranayama') as a practical tool for mental and physical well being, through mindfulness, breath and body.
Come and enjoy a range of group and private hatha yoga classes in North West London in a relaxed and friendly environment: Golders Green, Temple Fortune, Finchley, Hampstead, West Hampstead and St Johns Wood. I also lead workshops in France, Italy, Spain, Germany and America.

Meditation For You
Meditation and mindfulness are the cornerstones of all yoga practice.
Each yoga asana (posture) class is in effect a practice of 'meditation in motion'. as we learn to mindfully work with our body. Likewise, a pranayama (breath control) class trains us to develop our concentration to work with the subtle flow of breath
Meditation is is also highly valuable as a stand alone practice.
All these avenues provide opportunity to learn some useful techniques to access and experience a place of stillness and inner calm and are taught in Maxine's classes:
Mellow Chair Yoga and Meditation
Thursdays 11.00 – 12.00 at the Alyth Studio
There is no other class quite like this . Ideal for total well being of mind and body.
Enjoy gentle movement and guided meditation combined. This chair based movement class includes stretching, standing, twisting, breathing & mindfulness techniques. All the benefits of a gentle yoga class without the need to travel down to the floor.
